The department of Diploma in Sanitary Inspector (DSI) was established in the year 2021. The trains professionals to manage public health, hygiene, and sanitation by inspecting environments, enforcing regulations, and educating communities on disease prevention, covering topics like food safety, waste management, communicable diseases, and public health laws for roles in government, hospitals, and food industries.
The vision for a Diploma in Sanitary Inspector is to develop skilled public health professionals who ensure community hygiene, sanitation, and environmental health by enforcing regulations, managing waste, preventing disease, and educating the public, creating a cleaner, healthier society with diverse roles in government, NGOs, and healthcare.

Passed 10+2 (12th grade) in the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), though some programs may accept 10th pass or even B.Sc. graduates in related science fields.
