Furthermore, 26 students from our college have secured government employment in various government departments. This is a matter of great pride and happiness to our college.
A felicitation function was conducted in our college on 06.08.2025 to more to more the completion of the PG Diploma course. On that day, the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, through the district administration, announced that the students who had completed their government training programme were appointed to government jobs. Apart from academic progress, our students are also encouraged to develop leadership qualities social responsibility. To achieve this, various programmes are conducted for them. Through these activities, students participate in essay writing, oration, drama, music, dance, sports, and several other competitions and events, gaining valuable experience.
The chief guest for this seminar was Mr. Prabakaran, MBA, Director of Dileo Care India Pvt. Ltd., Madurai, who addressed the students with an inspiring speech.
He congratulated the students and praised the college for its achievements. it remains a proud moment in our institution's history.
Various competitions are conducted in colleges to showcase students' talents. Many students from our college actively participate and achieve success in these intercollegiate competitions.
On 05.08.2025, as part of the YRC (Youth Red Cross) activities, the 76th Geneva Convention Day was observed at a district-level event held at The Madura College, Madurai. In this competition, our students J. Manasamy, K. Veluchamy, and K. Nivetha participated and won prizes under the guidance of the YRC Coordinator T. Anusuya.
Through these events, students are gaining social awareness and a sense of responsibility. The various welfare schemes of the YRC continue to benefit many students each year, offering them numerous opportunities to engage in social service.
On 14.08.2025, as part of the National Service Scheme (NSS) activities, a medical and health awareness camp was conducted at Karuthapuli Village. The camp was organized under the leadership of Dr. R. K. Ashok Kumar, Chief Medical Officer, along with his team of six assistant doctors. They provided free medical checkups andTreatmenttothevillage residents and students.
Our students enthusiastically took part in assisting the medical team and learned valuable lessons about health and social responsibility. Such activities not only promote social awareness among the students but also prepare them to serve society with compassion and dedication.
On 08.08.2025, as part of the "Kalpanium Ennum Paadam Thodar" programme the students of Class Ill were invited to the Tamil Nadu Science Centre to participate in an awareness event.
To mark Independence Day and History Day celebrations, from 13.08.2025 to 21.08.2025, Students from government schools were taken to Government museums to gain educational experience in history and independence-related subjects.
On 22nd October 2024, students R. Ramya, S. Pavithra, K. Vidhyashri, and V. Pandibharathi of III B.Sc. Zoology won the 2nd Runner-up Code Care Impact Award in the Nan Mudhalvan Online Exam conducted by Madurai Kamaraj University.
On 24th October 2024, B. Janani and R. Sirajdeen Nisha of III B.Sc. Chemistry secured the Third Prize Organic Food Production Techniques at the Nan Mudhalvan Hackathon organized by Chidambaram Annamalai University.
Between 30th October and 8th November 2024, G. Y. Azhini from Ill B.Sc. Mathematics participated through NSS in the State Parade Camp held at Trichy, covering Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. Later, from 1 6th to 26th January 2025, she also participated in the NSS Republic Day Parade at Chennai.
On 9th January 2025, at V.P.M.M. College, Krishnankovil, M. Veeranageswari alias Swathi (II B.A. Tamil), K. Keerthana (II B.A. English), and B. Pavithra (II B.A. English) won the II Prize in the "Art from Waste" competition. In the same event also saw B. Janani, S. Krishnaveni, P. Rasitha, P. Pandeeshwari, M. Preeni, G. Kaleeswari, and M. Indu from III and I B.Sc. Chemistry winning the III Prize in Group Dance.
On 15th February 2025, at Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College, Madurai, V. Vanitha from I B.Sc. Chemistry secured the I Prize in Poetry, while V. Eswari (III B.Com.) and, R. Divya (III B.Com.) bagged the II Prize in Art from Waste.
From 13th to 17th March 2025, J. Saniya of II B.Sc. Computer Science participated in DancethroughNSSattheYouthFestivalheldatVelloreInstitute of TechnologyChennaiCampus.
On 14th March 2025, at Theni Kammavar Sangam Arts & Science College, Theni, the team comprising B. Janani, G. Kaleeswari, M. Preeni, P. Pandeeshwari, S. Krishnaveni, and M. Indu from III and, I B.Sc. Chemistry won the II Prize in Dance.
